#pastele

This is the menu for The Pastele Shop, a decent hole-in-the-wall in Honolulu or more specifically, in the neighborhood of Kalihi. My parents loved their pastele (Hawaiians pronounce it as “pah-teh-leh”) and would go there when they could.  I obtained this menu when I returned home, either in 1991 or 1998, and am posting it due to the cost in prices in the menu because I don’t think a pastele is $2.50 each in 2017.
