there are five new characters and ari and cruz still exist. i am scared.remember when omar and ander seemed like they could weather anything - religious homophobia, dark secrets, leukemia? but patrick waltzed in and suddenly *mess mess MESS*? and guzman and nadia? no. i am terrified for my bebés. this show cannot be trusted

RIGHT? i watched heartstopper first too and every charlie/nick scene in every episode is wholesome, absolutely makes my heart warm <3 i was in a very lovely and calm headspace. then i go over to elite 5 and oh, there’s patrick making out with a random redhead, oh there patrick being flashed by the new guy, oh there’s patrick staring at the new guy’s dick in the shower, oh look out, there’s patrick topping omar now-

Iknow it’s insane. It’s almost like their soft and tender moments surprised me so much that it made me freeze like “Real connection and deep feelings??” happening admist all this hooking up?? WHAT IS HAPPENING
I didn’t expect to love Patrick and Ivan so much, especially after coming from Heartstopper where everytime they hold hands it’s the most wholesome and incredible thing ever…it’s just like night and day and I’m a such a sucker for both
‘like night and day’ is so true! but yeah, everything in ep5 (i’m assuming you meant that conversation on the lawn? it’s super freaking adorable agddjfjfskdjd and ofc, what happens in the later scene…) is a pleasant surprise. like, i thought it would take an entirely different route with patrick and cruz bec it was kinda leading to it. but i love that ivan finally put aside his internal fear or whatever and get the guy <3
they better be together in s6 or istg. meanwhile, heartstopper seasons 2 and 3 are now a sure thing! *fireworks* hurray for the fangirls
