#persona 25th anniversary

I really wanted to get this done on the actual date (Sep 20), but some time after my last upload I got sick and then all plans fell apart ;;
Regardless, at the very least I’m posting this within the month, so happy 25th anniversary to the Persona series~! (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ ~(˘▽˘~)

Here is some fun little 25th anniversary art of the Protags as I imagine them to be around the Persona 5 time-line. (Since they’re all in the same universe.)
Sorry this took a while. It was so hard for me to decide on a hair style! Tried the half pony but I just couldn’t make it work for me. What did work was the undercut & I ended up adding the pony-tail to satisfy my long-haired Tatsuya’s look at the same time. It works with his rebellious image though (even though he’s quiet & timid) which is a thing he kept from his youth. And I know, behold: he has ears!
HEADCANNON:
He did a bit of pro-racing in his 20s but decided on being a mechanic as a trade by the end of it. Gonna imagine the P5 gang stopped in Sumaru city during their road trip & got the camper checked before heading back out.

HEADCANNON:
Let’s start with Naoya who I imagined would grow up to be a medical researcher. With Maki being sick in the original game & his interest in science, I can see this turning into a calling.
Being one of the more stubborn & headstrong protags, I can see him rolling up his sleeves and managing to get into medical school. Upon graduation, he’d end up doing medical research at a university. Maybe he ends up mentoring a young Takemi? Who knows! :D
With those slight curls in his original design & being one of the “pretty” protags, I can see him rocking this pretty boy hairstyle even at this age but keep his signature earring. He ends up needing glasses but forgets them a lot at the lab.
