I’ve only recently started shooting 35mm film again after seeing the excellent results from @southboundfilmlab in Nashville. My Epson film scanners never did a good job so I stuck with 120 and 4x5. A lot of artists do warm-up doodles or paintings before getting around to their actual work for the day. Although I’m not as methodical as that, I do have several side paintings going at a time, and I’ll randomly spend a few minutes or a half an hour on one of them each day. One of the things I’m trying to experiment with is attempting to convey emotions and somewhat more subtle psychological messages through my personal work. I’m not sure if I’m very good at it. Anyway, this is a work in progress, I call it “Spore.”
