I hate but also kind of love how tasteless, disappointing and just in it for the money the guests at the Met Gala are each year because it 100% affirms my view of celebrities. A young woman shivering with the stress of a thousand suns approaches them and asks: “So, Ms Billion Dollars what did you do to honor tonight’s theme of the Gilded Age which was a time of economic inequality and rapid industrial progression that changed the world as we know it and is actually a time very much like ours?” and they, without a shred of embarrassment, reply “This dress is Gucci"
