Piper squirmed in her cage as it rattled in the back of her new master’s car.
“How did it come to this?” she wondered, the gag in her mouth making it impossible to talk, even if she wanted to. She stared silently out the window at the passing trees, at the idea of freedom itself passing her by.

The coldness of the cage pressed against her bare body, reminding her of her new status in life. She was a crawling, barking fuckmutt from here on out, she realized, a tear rolling down her cheek as the car pulled into the driveway of her new home.
