Doppel:

Rax:
“For someone who, I’d imagine, wants to keep… low profile… that’s a Really flashy form to take. And you don’t seem to mind taking others to do your dirty work. You got some kinda complex or something?”

Doppel:
“I have walked this Earth, I think, longer than you can fathom, and the Power and wisdom I have accumulated in my life is nearly unrivaled.

Several years ago, Rax managed to arrange a meeting with Doppel
What did he ask?

Rax:
“… Dumb question, yeah… I know you always are.”

Several moments pass without a response

Rax:
“What? Did you just expect me not to question that? That a group of mercenaries like them would just show up in the exact same middle of nowhere town as the one ‘mon in hiding from them? You owe me answers, Doppel!”

The silence continues to hang over the scene, broken only by the white noise of the rain
