Trying to flesh out the Owl Clan’s family tree a little! Above is Gina and Jareth’s mother and father!
Also the mom and dad are supposed to have beak faces but I forgot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Filthy rich pure blooded Harpy family that is as old as the city they all live in, although Pure Bloods are commonly looked down upon and discriminated against, some of the strongest family’s are in fact PB’s (short for Pure Bloods’s it gets tedious typing it so many times.)
The Owl Clan are one of three major families running The City, think each family as Harpy Royalty. The way the throne is passed down for The Owl’s specifically is the head crest, the bigger crest the more claim a child has to the families riches and power.
Gina is in line to inherit all this power and she has no intention of sharing anything with her younger brother Jareth, who has NO crest to speak of and looks nothing like the parents. They’ve never met any extended family because The Mother is just as ruthless and cruel as Gina and likes to keep her children isolated and dependent.
Jareth shares a striking resemblance to his Grandmother (or Granny) on his Fathers side.
And though she knows very little about either of her only grandchildren she’s been waiting for the day The Mother’s grip loosens on both Gina and Jareth so she can reach out and form some kind of relationship with them before she meets her maker.
Both Granny and Jareth are Barn Owl harpies. Owl Harpies are a rare breed due to DECADES of PB’s “keeping it in the family.” Causing the Owls to slowly die off over time and becoming increasingly more rare and Barn Owls are the 1/1,000 of Owl breeds. So for Jareth to be MALE on top of that has made him a priceless bargaining chip for his Mother.
Jareth was never a son to his mother, always a pawn to be married off so she could gain more power before Gina took over being head of the family. Always an outcast among outcasts, so when he left The Owl Clan and his family found out his Eventual Mate was a common street pigeon…well you can guess how they took that. Or their opinion on Abby, his daughter.
Anyways that was all!
Unfortunately my brother came down with COVID and I started showing symptoms shortly after, I’m coming up negative on every test I’ve taken so fingers crossed it just stays as a cold kicking my ass. I seriously can’t remember when I was actually sick and not just faking it to get out of school or work so this is really beating the shit outta me. My mom’s immune system is the equivalent of THIS picture.
So I’ve been stuck in my room and trying to make my crippling addiction to League of Legends leave me alone for 5 seconds.
Okay gonna try to sleep, I’ve got some Invincible OC’s to doodle tomorrow lol.

Stayed up to color this and I have work today in 6hrs (currently 2AM) BUT it was worth it because I actually really like this one.
I’ve also been re-thinking Jareth’s voice, thinking more of a Frank Sinatra, or maybe a slight southern drawl. He’s from the city so I want to give him a city voice but IDK.
