Hey, tumblr? I’m sure some of y'all are doing this out of genuine concern for the cats but some of you are very obviously trying to stir the shit so please, stop trying to weaponize is-the-cat-video-cute (or is-the-[whatever other animal]-video-cute for that matter).

At least check their posts before you concern-troll tag them on a video someone you don’t like reblogged, to see if they’ve already rendered a verdict on that video or a similar one. I am thinking specifically of a video I saw yesterday where cats are willingly navigating paper cup obstacle courses when they could just, you know, walk away and some of you weirdos were clutching your pearls about torturing your cat but boy there’s a lot of you on a lot of cat videos who need to learn to a) read cat body language and b) stay in your lane.

And while we’re here, I am once again asking you to stop being weird in Mr. J’s landlady’s inbox.
