In three days, it will have been exactly a month after Akari made imagawayaki for him. And others , Rei had to remind himself each time he thought about it. She’d made a point to say this “Valentines day” wasn’t exclusively romantic, and even if it was there was a chance that he wasn’t even the boy she liked! But… he liked her, and if there was a holiday in her strange world for that, its sister “White Day” was probably the one.
Which is why Rei found himself in Professor Laventon’s office, somehow even more nervous than when he had tried to face down the captain.
The professor looked up from the scattered research notes from fellow survey corps members. “Rei, my boy, you seem upset. What’s wrong?”
“I’m not upset. I’m just…confused.” Despite himself, he started messing with the end of his scarf. “And I need your advice.”
Laventon perked up at that, stacking the papers neatly into a pile, “Then please, take a seat. I’m all ears.” Gracious as that was, it was precisely his fatherly tone that made Rei want to turn tail out of embarrassment.
Still, Rei sat on the cushion opposite of him and tried to ask his question in a way that wouldn’t tip the professor off to— at the very least— who it was about. “So…I have feelings for this woman.”

Guess who redid their trainer designs?
Really it was easier to just sketch for 36 hours straight than try inking anything while I was exhausted, so have this humble bundle. There’s more I was doing, but they aren’t mine.
ANYWAYS, nearly everyone got to have a slight overhaul with an attempt to keep their trainer class in mind; besides, it was fun to see the difference in style and improvements from the start of SwSh.
Top Row:
Keiko, Kain, Karlos, Kaci, Kati [Kiza], Kazana [Kazzi], Kaylee, and Yako
Second Row:
Key, Kameron, Karli, Karmine, Kave, Kaleb, Katrissa [Kat]
Bottom Row:
Krystopher [Kry], Kalyssa [Kallie], Kara, Kasper
Angelica [Ana], Benjamin [Ben], Anthony [Andy]
- Kry and Key are both originally MD characters [Persian and Delcatty]
- Yako is a Zoroark in disguise because I guess Zoros are fucking illegal these days. He intentionally resembles Karlos.
- Kara is from Shadows of Almia and used to be named ‘Ice’
- Kasper is from Pokken Tournament [I main Chandelure and Darkrai]
- Ana, Ben, and Andy were passed on to me from old friends who no longer play
- Most of them now are themed after a primary pokemon :D
- Yes, everyone directly related to Akages have ‘Ka’ names for the sole purpose of ruining RNG of original cartridges, and yes, it’s getting harder to find new names for any new additions.

Guess who remade some fucking sonas? .D.
Whisper is a fusion of standard and Hisuian zoroark and is a dark/ghost type because idk man new zoro looks like a leper. The wild af hair is great, though.
And ofc I changed my main thing into a Cat-Sith with influence from Nekomata, Carbuncle, and Cabbit; largely to better represent me. I make good choices.
SO ANYWAYS. HOW BOUT THEM EGGS?

Some things I did up today waiting for… something.
My silent plague doctor Aromatisse who has no real name- they go by various synonyms of ‘black’ and they’re okay with that. They look spooky, but they’re a good fairy, healing the sick and injured and making medicines with a combination of Fairy Dust and their Poison Hidden Power. Nobody knows anything about them- no name, no gender, or even if they’re dead or alive. They even wear a Reaper Cloth imbued with ghost energy to give them extra power.
And my little ‘gijinka’ family- Michal the Silvally with Arceus going on, Adonias the silver Ho-Oh, ViRU-5 the Rotom Android, and Amos the Darkrai with… well a Beta Celebi since I see them as extinct varieties of pokemon and these guys are all scientifically altered by Adonias themselves. They just only tend to take non-human forms when necessary, since they all started off as human. Fact! Adonias is the one who ‘created’ my Gallade, Kirlia, and Gardevoir set! So all these guys are connected in some fashion!

My copy of Pokemon Traveler arrived today! Everyone’s art look amazing and wow it was really fun to be part of this! My piece was Kanto’s Pokemon Tower. Pretty obvious, right? Thanks again for providing this amazing opportunity!
