I wanted to do a celebratory picture for Serena now that she is making her Journeys debut and a return to the anime! I always felt the Kalos anime, and Serena as a protagonist, was peak Pokemon anime, and I’m sad they wound up going the route they did with Alola. (I tried to give it a lot of chances but nothing can beat Kalos…)
This concept has been done a billion other times by other people, but I finally did one for me! Fairy-type Gym Leader, the gym is a hospital XD (For those who don’t know it, I’m a nurse practitioner).
Lucario is a top favorite Pokemon of mine. I’ve had one named Hunter as a recurrent transfer for a long time. He was the first Pokemon I ever tried to EV train! (Back during original DPPt when I was in college…)
