Watching Pokemon X and Y for the first time
Are they really giving Ash a love interest?
Also I’d like to point out that I’m watching it on Netflix so I went straight from watching the Indigo League to X and Y. So Ash went from a brash 10 year old to a sweet and mature… 10 year old? Lmao

Season 1, episode 44, a Chansey Operation, the original pokemon series (I think it’s called Indigo League)
For anyone who hasn’t seen it, pikachu gets something stuck in its throat and has to be rushed to a human hospital, since there isn’t a Pokémon center nearby. The doctor that greets them only agrees to even see them (apparently, hospitals close while the doctors take naps in the Pokémon world) when Misty asks. “Well, how can I turn down such a pretty face?” says Dr. Proctor. And later, “I’ve never been able to refuse requests from little girls.”
…right…can someone say “pedophile”?
