All of us at the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation extend our condolences to our colleagues at the Pollock-Krasner Foundation on the passing of its Chairman, Charles Bergman. 

Charlie was a good friend to us and to individual artists around the world. He invested 37 years of his life building connections and developing policies that will continue to provide funding and recognition to artists. His contributions to the art world can be measured by the production of the many artists he and the Foundation helped support over the years. 

We will miss his contributions to our field but mostly we will miss his unfailing good nature and generosity. Thank you, Charlie, for everything you’ve done.
