It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to announce that Population GO will no longer be available to provide you all with geek- and otaku-related news and reviews in the near future. In the beginning of October, Pop GO will be ending its run after an entertaining 5-year endeavor.

It may seem all too sudden, but for some time, a number of us staff members have been finding less and less time to contribute to the site–what with daily life situations, be it work, school, family, or anything else that requires our time. Coupled with costs of running the site out of pocket, keeping the site any further will only become increasingly difficult. It is unfortunate to have come to this decision, especially when we all enjoy sharing our passion for all things anime, manga, comics, film, gaming, and more.

But as they say, life goes on.

As we may have mentioned before, none of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for all you who felt that Pop GO was worth liking, following, and subscribing. There wouldn’t be a Pop GO if our fellow geeks and otaku out there didn’t help us build a place where all of us can be… us. And to that, we’d like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to share everything we have with you for all these years!

It’s not exactly goodbye just yet as we will still be providing reviews and news in the coming week. So please stick with us long enough before our final farewell.

But until then, again, thank you all so much!

From all of us at Population GO

Alex,Calvin, and Dan discuss some random topics, most of which revolve around gaming. There’s talk on fan-made Pokémongames through RPG Maker, Fifa ‘16, and Metal Gear Solid V. There’s a little convention talk and some music talk from Gorillaz to a love for Hatsune Miku.
