It’s been a while. We’re very sorry about that. But now, we can officially say everything is done and prepared for preorders to open! Save the date! May 7 2pm CST. and a closing date is to be further decided. We will be doing a countdown along with a cover reveal!

We have decided that AU will not be allowed. We are keeping the zine to the movie. Things though like drawing a new/unseen scene is allowed! Or slightly altering the film/characters/plot
If you are part of the lesbian/queer community who have seen and been seen by the film ‘Portrait of a Lady on Fire’ (‘Portrait de la jeune fille en feu’), we want you to fill our online survey. It takes about 15-25 minutes and it’s anonymous.
The survey is meant for cis and trans women and non-binary, genderqueer, or agender people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, and/or queer.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
We plan to share the results publicly to foster connection within and encourage scholarship about our queer community. All results will be aggregated and anonymous. We will post updates regularly @portraitofasurveyonfire on Instagram. Follow us!

What: a study of the impact of ‘Portrait’ on the lesbian and queer community.
When: online, completely anonymous, take it now (or over the weekend). Answer as much or little of the questions as you want.
Why: we want to understand how big this global community is, share the results with ourselves and the world, and slay the persistent myth of lesbian and queer invisibility.

The wonderful Heather and two of her friends created a Survey for cis and trans women and non-binary, genderqueer, or agender people who identity as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual and/or queer who have seen Portrait of a Lady on Fire.
The goal of this completely anonymous survey is to document this community—the large number of us, our ages, all the different countries we live in, and the range of our lesbian and queer experiences. Hundreds of people, from Singapore to Switzerland and from India to Italy, have already taken the Portrait survey.
The study we will complete after we get many more responses will show how important yet little known this queer community is as a film audience!
It would *really* means a lot if you could take a little of your time to complete this survey. We know how impactful the film had on our community and it would be so great to have an actual trace of it with numbers and all.
This project means a lot to me but even more to the creators of it. You would help tons if you could participate to this project!
