I don’t remember but it wouldn’t surprise me ‍♀️ One of the Mary Foundation’s expert panelists is interviewed for the documentary and she’s extremely critical of the school. It isn’t lost on me either that Alexandra of Berleburg’s daughter Ingrid (who also happens to be Frederik’s goddaughter) started but AFAIK did not complete her education at Herluf.

and like… trane is not a perfect school or anything but they cared about the children’s privacy and i 100% think a gymnasium like ijg or zahle (that isn’t rooted in fucking moldy rich people’s traditions) would’ve been able to keep that up, and above ANYTHING else, NONE of those schools have even a fragment of the nauseating reputation that herluf has ‍♀️

it’s just so ignorant to think that in the year 2022 the drf would not be questioned about their moral values when they actively choose to be affiliated with a school with THAT history

worst thing about the whole herlufsholm scandal (which lbr IS NOT news, wbk that school is a fiery pit hell – we knew that when nikolai attended and we know now) is that the drf absolutely isn’t about to do ANYTHING about it and thinking there’s even a slim chance that they’d pull the children from there is frankly laughable considering how this PEAK drf in terms of shoddy comms
