I’m from Sacramento, so I’m probably biased, but I just left Tower Theatre in complete admiration of the film I just watched. Not only was Lady Bird one of the best coming of age comedies to date, it was a complete love story detailing life growing up in the central valley. MY LIFE WAS ALMOST AN EXACT REPLICA OF CHRISTINE “LADY BIRD” ’S. I legit laughed. I legit cried. I love Sacramento, CA and I’m never leaving.

i just fucking called my mother with an innocuous question to find out that she’s currently in the ER being treated for sepsis(?!?!?!) which i JUST found out about, and then I called my aunt to find out more about THAT, and discovered that she is dealing with my uncle who is being tested for cancer!!!

and like… trane is not a perfect school or anything but they cared about the children’s privacy and i 100% think a gymnasium like ijg or zahle (that isn’t rooted in fucking moldy rich people’s traditions) would’ve been able to keep that up, and above ANYTHING else, NONE of those schools have even a fragment of the nauseating reputation that herluf has ♀️
it’s just so ignorant to think that in the year 2022 the drf would not be questioned about their moral values when they actively choose to be affiliated with a school with THAT history
