A commissioned Aarakocra, based on a white tailed kite! Resin base with moving jaw, and a combination of cut fur and feathers. All parts by me except for the hinges and the head harness.
Here’s the boy! He likes mushrooms and is generally a bit nervous. This tawny owl was built on a modified resin base by the wonderful crystumes, and features poseable eyelids, a moving jaw, and hand-placed feathers! He won’t be put up for sale.
A copper crow! Resin base, articulated jaw, faux fur with feather accents. Based loosely on an odd brown crow morph. All parts made by myself except for the hinges for the jaw.
This pup is up for auction! After trying everything out on my own doberman mask, I decided to run through it again and smooth out some quality of life hiccups. So to that end:
This mask has a resin base, silicone nose and tongue, glass eyes, and hand-placed whiskers. The jaw is articulated, a zipper opening in the back allows easier access if needed, the hood is lined, and the forehead pad has a removable cloth cover for washing. It can be worn with glasses.
All parts are hand-made custom, excluding the jaw hinge from Dreamvision Creations. The mask was only worn during the fitting and photography sessions.
25% of the profits from this sale will be donated to an animal shelter in need! The buyer can inquire for details if desired.
Happy Halloween! Using the holiday as an excuse to kick off this account - my costume this year came out just as nice as can be, and will hopefully be the first of many! I’ll put up some process shots in the days ahead as I move on with mask #2
Glass eyes, silicone nose and tongue, moveable jaw. Everything on the head was made by me, excluding the hinge kit from the lovely Dreamvision Creations.
A commissioned mask - a fantastical raptor design belonging to @LimeyPie on twitter! Definitely one of my most challenging and time-consuming projects so far, but it was a really fun character to work on! Among other things, he features poseable eyelids, a feathered mane, and removable shoulder wings with an iridescent coating.
A pair of commissioned crow masks! Green belongs to @beakybirds on twitter, brown belongs to @paleo_birdie. Constructed from scratch by myself. I’m always happy to add to the flock!
*Commissions are currently closed. The Smiling Fox and Floral Deer 2.0 are for sale. Contact me for details if interested.*
The floral deer 2.0! This time a wearable mask instead of exclusively a wall mount. He’s currently up for sale, and includes sleeves by Crystumes and a tail! The auction will run for 5 days, and 25% of the proceeds will go towards Feeding America, for their ongoing Covid-19 aid efforts.
The celtic deer! Featuring gold leaf antlers, eyes, and tongue, and hand-painted detail work. All parts by me, except for the physical 3d printing of the antlers (I sculpted them in zBrush).
He’s based on a European roe deer! The knot in his antlers represents trees as a gateway between realms, and the knot on his forehead represents the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
This deer is not currently for sale, but future premades will be! I’ll be opening for commissions in early March of 2020. You can request a quote for a custom or artistic liberty mask at [email protected], and my FAQ is here: http://tinyurl.com/y5wfo3wq
