I am currently going through many of my swatches I picked up from Silk Baron to choose the fabric I’d like to do for my D&D Character, Alma, designed by the LOVELY Nat DeMenthon!!! I had fell in love with many of the dupioni’s I had picked up, but narrowed it down to these combinations:
The blue matte satin is the same in both pictures, yay cellphone cameras.
Body: Cuacoo / Belt trim: Blue Hawaii
Body: Tidepool / Belt trim:Maldives
(While I love the color of the Maldives, I wanted specifically a dupioni for that texture and flow.)

Happy 7th Anniversary to Critical Role and all the Critters who make art, cosplay, and other incredible expressions of love for this fandom. Can’t believe how far this wild ride has gone. The actual play show, comics, novels, animated series…There’s so much to enjoy and fill our hearts. We’re beyond glad we jumped aboard at the start of Campaign 2 and then caught up with Campaign 1 in an excited blur. Love the creativity, love the goofs, love the LOVE in this fandom. Let’s all keep loving each other and making the world a brighter, more fun place to explore together.

This is such a dramatic pose for Arty, and I feel like I’m sitting on that boulder in an awkward way, but oof. Maybe the drama is good. I’m into how this turned out, I love wandering through trees looking for a Drama Perch.

It’s Vilya! At least a costest/makeup test. I finally figured out how to (probably) make her leg last, and there’s some yarn on its way to me so I can get cracking on the mantle I want to make for her.
These won’t be the ears I use for her, but would you believe I’ve had them since Fellowship of the Ring premiered in theaters? I wore these to the theater! I’ll be using nicer, more modern ears, but I wanted to give these a last hoorah before I retire them for good.
I started working on Vilya’s bodice last year, but I’m sure plenty of you know the quarantine cosplay doldrums. It was hard to stay motivated, but I’m back in it now!! The weather is nicer, too, so I can paint things and maybe get some freckles on my face to match the ones on my shoulders.
Vilya means a lot to me. I had mixed feelings about publicly cosplaying or posting anything about her, because she’s kind of a walking spoiler, but at least now it’s been a whiiiile since her whole thing in Campaign 2.
It’s been about a year and a half or so, but Caleb is finally done! I’m so happy with where he’s at now and I can’t wait to finally wear the finished version at an event!
I bought a new shirt for Caleb today and I can’t wait for it to get here! Also I am slowly getting used to being on campus for college again after doing these past couple semesters online but it’s still kinda weird to be back

A commissioned Aarakocra, based on a battle scarred harpy eagle! Resin base with moving jaw, and a combination of cut fur and feathers. She features silver-flecked eyes, a hand-painted beak, and a moving feather crest that raises when the wearer’s mouth is fully opened. All parts by me except for the hinges and the modified base by Crystumes.
