Something a little different that I made back in October. It was meant to be an entry in the Spoonflower tea towel contest but I misremembered the deadline so, alas, it didn’t get entered! I made this by compiling a bunch of my existing illustrations and working over the top of them in @procreateapp on the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil.

I’m still working 99% traditionally, but it’s been fun to experiment with digital overlays and combining physical/digital illustration.

The brief was to create an Audubon-style, scientific illustration but for a recipe. This was my first time including lettering in an illustration.
