Fair warning: my taste in music is all over the place!

The music for the upcoming Witcher game was recently released and I’m so in love with this EP, especially this beautiful song:

This song is my newly found anthem to survive like I’m not even kidding

This is the newest cover of a South African child choir (a cover of Toto’s Africa was in my YouTube recommendations and I instantly fell in love)

I also have mixed feelings about my cultural heritage and I grew up bilingual. Plus this hip-hop song flows both in English and German!

Three essentials

• lip balm: I agree with Elda on this! I have this obsession with buying lip balm in different flavours and putting it on every 10 minutes but I can’t stop cause without it, my lips get very dry.
• my phone: Well, you see, I mostly socialize over social media …
• my noise-cancelling headphones: Turn the world off, turn music or true-crime podcasts on.

Two favourite books

• Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor: the worldbuilding is so unique, the characters are complex and interesting, I love the magic system and above all, I love how poetic the style of writing is!
• Anne Frank’s Diary: an essential read for everyone! Yes, she was a Jew prosecuted by the Nazi regime, but above all, she was a teenage girl who wrote down her thoughts and feelings in a diary and I could relate to that. I’ve read the uncensored version of her diary at least four times!
