#cover song
“the Chain”, covered live by Florence + the Machine @ Glastonbury in 2010.
since it’s pride month, throwback to this beautiful cover and this wholesome interaction between two icons
You know how you become too aware of consciously breathing, after someone mentions it? I saw this Tweet last night, realized i thankfully had no song stuck in my head, kept thinking too much about whether i actually did have a song stuck in my head, and now i do. But it’s a good song, so i dont mind.
I haven’t been so moved by a piece of music in a while. Everything about this is just — I don’t even know what to say. I feel like he’s singing to me, between the lyrics and the way he gets so involved. I want to keep this video to myself, but I also feel like it should be shared.
I hope Frank Iero goes down in history not just as a member of My Chemical Romance, but as a true, outstanding artist.

My favorite musician covered one of my favorite songs ever. Maybe it shouldn’t even be covered, but I think this was beautiful and tastefully done. None of my friends will listen or give me an opinion, so maybe someone on here will.
