I’ve noticed a lot of discussion of the KotOR 1 remake over whether Revan should be able to actually spare Malak. I can see the argument, as Revan got a second chance, Malak probably deserves one too.
However, I think Revan should be able to spare Malak so she can go back to emotionally tormenting the man. A real pick-up-where-she-left-off situation. It’s what he deserves.

Ah yes, my comfort characters – two jedi knights with something deeply wrong with them.
I have been trying to get out of art block by trying to make less stress-inducing artwork. I just want to focus on what’s fun for me, rather than what’s popular or good. This is another example of taking pose inspiration from pokemon-trainer sprites.

happy may 4th or star wars day or just wednesday!!!! i always forget to make something for this date and this was pretty much a last minute decision. It’s Very rough bc i barely had time to work on it, but any mistake can be called an artistic choice.
Anyway, i love kotor a lot and since it renewed my faith in star wars i wanted to make a piece with my two favorite characters of it. Yes, nobody is surprised. I could go on and on about the parallels with my other revalek piece but i digress (haha unless?).

It’s done and I can’t believe it. I think this is the most time-consuming personal piece I ever did, which is saying a lot since my attention span is awful. This is a belated birthday gift to my self-indulgent ass who had this shitty idea for months now. Yeah, there’s a few things that I’d like to tweak or redo but I can’t stare at this any longer otherwise I’ll go insane. A billion kudos to @hnnny for helping me getting this mess started!! I’m not joking. You are wonderful and this work wouldn’t exist without you <3

No Children - The Mountain GoatsI commissioned the wonderful @stellorc once more to draw my Revan and Malak on the Star Forge. The Revan here is Revan Nekadzu, a Sith Pureblood from Korriban and Jedi Consular, who she drew previously. I will link it in a separate reblog, since tumblr hates links in posts.
This is post their duel on the Star Forge. Two broken people who, as they’re dying from the wounds they inflicted on each other, realize how deeply they messed up and how much they still love each other.
One thing I wish KOTOR explored more is the relationship between Revan and Malak. There’s so much potential there. I adore these two, they make me so incredibly sad. Childhood friends to lovers to enemies
to lovers again. For me they are star-crossed lovers, soulmates.Instead of Malak losing his jaw, he has a horrible disfiguring scar that cuts all the way across his face and has distorted his lip quite a bit. The jaw piece is a mask he uses to hide the worst of it, but it got knocked off in the fight.
And yes, they live. :)
