Seeing Héctor and Imelda dance together in the Pixar Popcorn trailer more or less inspired this picture. Their reunion in 2017 was just in time for their 100th wedding anniversary, so here they are renewing their vows.

Gracias to @moon-calvary for her input!

I love Coco more than I ever thought it was possible to love a movie. <3

So, during the scene where Imelda sings “La Llorona,” Ernesto joins her onstage and attempts to steal Hector’s photo from her with some sultry dance moves. I was rather disappointed that we don’t get to see the look on Hector’s face as his killer is putting the moves on his wife, so I decided that this would be my first Coco fan art.

This was my very first Coco fan art ^_^

Hola :) New photomontage is here. This time is Imelda and her daughter Socorro “Coco”. Both Coco and Imelda (faces) are made from “scratch” using different characters and many layers in photoshop. I imagine that Coco is 9-10 years old in this photo, so Imelda is in her late 20s (about 28-29 years old, since I believe she had Coco when she was 19). Have a nice day :)

This is canonically what Coco looked like as a young girl, and you can’t convince me otherwise!

I like to think that the Rivera twins, despite being inseparable, have a lot of petty disagreements that they don’t always handle in a mature manner. :)
