rkhyojeong‌:

hey kid is something she’s pretty used to hearing. she had usually been one of the younger students in her dance classes, and a lot of her friends that she regularly hung out with were older than her. it’s not something new to her, despite her being taller than a lot of the other kids her age. she knows that she can pass off as mature just on looks alone – if only people didn’t take personality into account. it’s funny, honestly, when she thinks about it, considering she doesn’t even try that hard to pretend to be mature.

but hearing the hey kid has hyojeong turning her head, to look for the source of the voice.

and to her complete and utter surprise, it’s someone she had known she would probably run into one day now that she had gotten into nova. but she didn’t think that one day would be so soon. or even today. it takes her almost a moment to gather her thoughts, her brain whirring like crazy. after watching the episodes of the supernova project, there had been two people she had really wanted to meet: sunmi and chaeyoung. sunmi from ages ago, from the first mgas, and chaeyoung since episode one of the project. and one of them is talking to her right now.

“i.” hyojeong is never one to be struck speechless, and it takes a brief moment for the gears in her brain to start working again. “hi! sunmi-sunbaenim, um, no i know where i’m going. just dance practice,” she points a finger over her shoulder in the direction that she had been heading before being stopped, towards the practice rooms.

the buffer in response leads sunmi to consider that maybe this kid shouldn’t be in the halls of nova. was she sneaking in? though it begs the question of who she would be sneaking in for?

( probably haknyeon, she thinks. he’s the youngest and possibly in the age range of this girl. it would make the most sense if she was a young fan girl….. )

sunmi wouldn’t tell on her. probably scold her and remind her that it’s sasaeng behaviour to stalk an up and coming idol like this. the girl speaks like she’s familiar with the place. maybe the young girl wasn’t a fan after all.

a trainee this young? suddenly sunmi would have preferred if she was just some crazy stalker.

“oh, you must be new then,” sunmi says with a nod. although incredibly educated at least to know who she was. unless she simply watched the supernova project before coming here. how new of a trainee was she? “since you know my name….it’s a bit awkward to introduce myself.” she gave a half hearted chuckle. “what’s your name?” she tried to refrain from adding ‘kid’ to the end of that sentence as well. maybe she was older than she looked.

“you seemed so young i thought you were just a fan walking in through nova. glad to know you’re a trainee. how old are you?”

rkhyojeong‌:

“oh, i don’t have it!” she grins, spinning it in relief once they’ve reached it. that meant that the next couple pokestops that were ahead of them would probably also be ones that neither of them had spun. honestly, hyojeong usually just trashes these tasks, because it’s too difficult to find pokestops that she’s never spun before, unless she specifically travels somewhere that she’s never been. but then ryujin also had the same task, so they had decided to see if they could find them together.

half of her can’t believe that she’s going this far out of her way to do this. the other half is not surprised at all.

“we can probably just keep headin’ this direction and hope that it leads up farther to new pokestops, and not back to where we began,” she grins, pointing and walking in the direction she meant, knowing that the other girl would follow her.

adjusting her backpack so that it rests more comfortably atop her shoulders she nod to agree, since they have come so far already they might as well step a little further. “we sure can,” she settles it with that, and follow after the other female with a broad grin. it has been quite a while since she spun a new stop now and for some reason it excites her to find a brand new one.

sometimes she wonder why she go out of her way to accomplish these missions but then she remember, ryujin has grown rather used to long travel hours for her school so it’s not so bad–, and what makes it worth it isn’t exactly the game itself honestly but rather spending time with friends, as a social butterfly she get so much joy and energy out of hangingout  with people.

“i’m glad we found one already, i was starting to run out of pokéballs…” she admits, it isn’t like she’s a poor thrower but she’s pretty sloppy at it. “i need to be more careful when i throw!”

a closed starter for @rkhyojeong

Mobile is resting comfortably in Ryujin’s hand as she seemingly walk aimlessly with her friend while in reality, they are on a conquest of finding three pokestops that they have never visited before. It’s becoming harder and harder to fulfill these kinds of assignments, soon enough it’s going to be impossible without travelling further than she is willing to for a mere game.

“There! A pokestop– ah, have you spun that one before? I don’t think I have.”

Looking up from her devide she eyes Hyojeong with curiosity, part of her hope that she hasn’t spun it already while the other wish that she has. The sooner they finish their quest the sooner they get a new one which ultimately means, that they get more loot. Either way, Ryujin moves towards the pokestop for the added loot, even if she is stacked with most of what she need.

checking up on long-term goals with @rkhyojeong

jungeun poked at the small lava cake in front of her. a small cap was placed over her blonde hair for privacy, though being bleach blonde is anything but discreet. she sat in a quiet corner of the cafe, in respect for the person she was meeting. although the publicdidn’t know hyojeong was a trainee yet, there were always eyes and earseverywhere and jungeun isn’t the best at volume control. ( she recalls getting yelled at inside their high school’s library a while ago, getting nearly kicked out with the younger girl. ) the blonde turns around, looking at the direction of the cafe’s door, searching for the girl. she didn’t expect hyojeong, who somehow was lucky enough to earn jungeun’s patience, to rush to their meeting place. but, she missedher hoobae, who could possibly—no, will be—her sunbae in their dream company. the thought makes jungeun laugh under her breath. hoobae turned sunbae, how did that happen?

clearly, they had a lot to talk about.

rkhyojeong‌:

she’s not usually one to be late, usually exactly on time, and today is no exception. though, she does momentarily get distracted by a black cat that crosses her path outside the cafe – he reminds her of her beloved luna, and she’s definitely going to be needing a long cuddle session with her kitten when she gets home tonight. not that luna didn’t sleep in her bed every night anyway, but she hasn’t gone out of her way to just cuddle the kitten in a while.

damn her schedule.

pushing open the door, hyojeong glances around immediately to look for her unnie, excited to catch up. it’s been much too long, with jungeun disappearing to the states after all, and she can’t wait to catch up. she’s been excited since she had told the older girl about getting signed, and they had discussed some trainee things. she’s donned a black mask as well, thinking being subtle was better than not trying and she plops down in front of jungeun happily. “unnie~ it’s been so long!”

jungeun’s face beams as she spots the younger girl. “hyo—” she’s about to scream the younger’s full name, until she catches herself. she bites her tongue and laughs as she catches her mistake. “jeong.”

she says the second syllable with a hushed tone. jungeun grabs the extra fork on the table, offering some of her cake to the younger. with her status as a trainee, she wonders if hyojeong is allowed to eat some cake. probably not, but a bite ( or two ) wouldn’t hurt. jungeun nods as tthe younger mentions the months they haven’t seen each other. although jungeun has returned since may, it was the first time they physically were able to meet and four months was waytoo long. “it has.do you want anything to order? i’ll pay for it.”

jungeun takes a sip of her lemonade. they could talk about millionsof topics but jungeun wastes no time mentioning one of the most important ones. “so,” jungeun begins. “guess which largescale show i auditioned for.”

soobin’s still not too sure how he’d gotten hyojeong to agree to this. but somehow, he did, and he’s kind of glad he has. despite being someone who’d do anything in his power to do … nothing, he found that it was probably important that he put in some sort of effort into his art class.

they’d decided on taking photos of someone at a garden, and soobin had reached out to hyojeong, mostly because he felt as though she’d suit the ‘vibe’ he had planned the best.

he stands at in the middle of the park, attempting to find a doable view for his project (because soobin wasn’t the kind of guy who aimed for perfection, and he thinks he never really will be, which is fine, really), when he sees her approaching. “hyojeong hey,” he waves. “thanks for coming,” he greets. “i won’t take too much of your time. just a few photos should work,” he continues, turning around to take a better look at the area he was working with.

“ah, right,” he pulls out a drink he’d kept in his bag and passes it to her. “for you. think of it as a pre-thank you gift. i’ll treat you to lunch later as an actual thank you,” he smiles.
