My assignment for the TMA Rare Pair Exchange was Jonah Magnus/Robert Smirke, which is a pairing I’m a huge fan of and was thrilled to draw! :)

1. Barnabas lies prone, looking to the right sadly. His left hand holds a pen, and he clutches a paper against his chest. The colors are desaturated, and prominently blue. Above are the words “I must write to Jonah Magnus”.
2. Robert sits at a desk with papers on it containing messy blueprints, eyes, and hearts. He is stressed, a hand clutching his face and the other gripping a pen. Jonah stands behind him with a hand on his shoulder, smiling, and the panopticon looms behind them. Staring down at them is a big green eye.
3. Jonah and Robert stand close, with Jonah grasping Robert’s shirt and Robert’s hands on Jonah’s waist. Jonah smiles while Robert is expressionless. They are both cast in shadow with a fireplace behind them, and the words “You must tell me what you saw. I must understand what you will do” are on either side of them. End ID.]
