I ended up changing some stuff on Li Ru (my new Dynasty Warriors OC).
While I like the shoulder pauldron design on the initial design better, that thing and the embroidery pattern between the shoulder and the neck were PAIN IN THE ASS to draw. I already knew it would be a nightmare later (especially since I still need to do 4-5 different drawings of him), cuz these will be on a model/expression sheet.
The second design will save a little bit of time to draw. I’m also starting to like the new collar better.

Today is the 9th Wedding Anniversary for @risingfox and me. On August 11th of 2012, we got married.
I decided to post this romantic image of Li JueandLanyue (my OC), my favorite Dynasty Warriors couples that I did for Valentine’s a couple of years ago. Since it’s been 4 years since I got back into the DW franchise and started drawing a bunch of fanart and developed a handful of OC’s for it, it’s technically their 4th anniversary. Trust me, it was right around our 5th Anniversary when I got hooked onto DW and Koei games again.
That being said, Happy 4th Anniversary for Li Jue & Lanyue, and 9th Anniversary for RisingFox & I.
