Reading Midnight Sun has only solidified my stance that Richelle Mead needs to release the books from Dimitiri’s point of view. First of all, Dimitri is such a strong person, seeing things through his perspective would be so interesting. Second, my heart would burst to hear him gushing about Rose.

Enjoy! All six books from Dimitris point of view are completed.

At the end of the day we will always have the novels ❤️

After sleeping on the casting decision and giving it some time I have come to the conclusion that I am still going to give the show a chance.

Am I still disappointed in the casting choices? Absolutely.

Do I have concerns about the character descriptions brought forth? Yes I do.

It has absolutely nothing to do with racism and everything to do with the fact that they have strayed so far from the character descriptions from the novels.

I am hopeful that Dimitri will still have a Russian background. Actors can learn accents, and here’s hoping that they have Kieron do just that.

I am assuming that Rose will no longer be portrayed as Turkish, which is upsetting but I can adjust.

I also understand that they will have to adjust certain aspects of the plot in order to make it more suitable for television, however I hope that they stay true to the main plot line and character development in the series.

We’re in this together, guys.

Okay so I thought I could be unbiased about the casting decisions but I just saw a post about who is rumored to be playing Dimitri and let me just say…

IF ITS NOT THIS MAN THEN I’M GOING TO BE DISAPPOINTED

Also, the JEALOUSY that I will feel for Rose when they bring the Tasha storyline in.

I will most likely never recover from seeing the “Love fades. Mine has” scene acted out.

I’m so nervous/excited to see who they cast as Rose and Dimitri. I know at first I will probably be upset but I legit cannot wait to see them in character for the first time.

We’ve waited so long❤️
