Meeting the cast of #forblackboys was amazing, they were patient with the pics and signings, polite and the advice some of them gave to me is something I will be thinking about throughtout my career as an actor. They ALL performed with such passion and openness which allowed me to fully be transported through each characters lives. I believed every word they spoke.
Not only did I meet those incredible guys but also met and got advice from @twhiddleston and @zawe! [What the actual…!?] He was gracious, kind and really listened to what I had to say which I appreciated so much.
Yesterday evening was the beautiful highlight of a pretty rough day in all honesty…not knowing what I’m doing, feeling lost and thinking maybe this isn’t my path. But then you get inspired by a performance that is out of this world, so powerful, clever, hilarious, emotional…the list goes on and on.
Having conversations with actors who are humble enough to actually listen and just give what they can, I honestly thank ya’ll for that. I will cherish it and keep working hard towards that dream. I will get there
