I wondered why Five would not tell Vanya that she caused the apocalypse (because she forgot anyways and really, she’d find out eventually), and I’ve come to the conclusion that he just didn’t have the heart to

The Umbrella Academy’s reactions to seeing Vanya for the first time after she nearly killed them all and destroyed the world are better than ANYTHING I could’ve hoped for. 

Luther - frickin APOLOGIZES. Sees that she’s happy and lets her stay and be happy!

Diego - is mildly salty at first, but immediately accepts her apology. and that porch scene at the end gives me all the feels.

Allison - yay sister hug :)

Klaus - the intrusion on the sister hug and the little “Hey, Vanny,” gets me EVERY time. Then the casual teasing about the apocalypse, “Is it Vanya? It’s usually Vanya.”

Five - smiles and is kind to her (for Five at least). Didn’t have the heart to tell her that she caused the apocalypse. ALSO when older/younger/whatever Five learns about Vanya causing the apocalypse, his immediate solution is just to be nice to her. So yeah Vanya is his favorite and he’s soft for her.

Ben - if you watched that scene then you already know. my HEART
