#sad to gay
Some of the reactions I got for yesterday’s comic have proven to me that I need to take a break and think about if/how I wanna continue this comic.
I started it to just be something that trod the line between funny and #relatable, but the last 2 months especially I have been getting more and more negative feedback that didn’t criticize anything substantial, but, among other things, the fact that I’m a boring binary trans guy making run-of-the-mill binary trans guy content. And wanting my comic to remain apolitical in nature is apparently also contentious. It seems you MUST pick a side, no matter how meanspirited you find the infighting happening.
This comic isn’t a passion project; it becoming a liability for my mental wellbeing is a clear point in favour of discontinuing it.
I’ll be taking a summer break until August 5th, at which time I’ll make an announcement about the future of the comic.

While shaving is in a way its own reward, I’m definitely looking forward to growing a full on viking beard. Eventually.

An early post this weekend, as I’m out and about.
Fun fact: The german equivalent to how testicles are referred to as ‘balls’ in english is 'Eier’ in german. Which translates to 'eggs’ :D
