Irish Eyes on St. Paddy's Day 2022

Irish Eyes on St. Paddy’s Day 2022 by Christina Saint Marche

I have Green Eyes. #Truth - got them from my mother. My guy tells me the very first thing he saw of me was my green eyes but, laughing, I know better. You see, I was getting out of my car and I wanted to make sure he saw those long legs sliding out of the open car door. Its like when a fisherman “chums” for a sailfish down in the islands. As that fish breaks water you simply know that with the right test line on your fishing pole you got a battle on your hands…and that is the pure pleasure of it all for a gal like me. The work of Allen Pierson posted first in 2021 and re-posted here today.

The Purple Reign Comtesse

In the “Drag & Crossdressing Worlds” I am often referred to as “The Comtesse” or as it is in Anglo, the Countess. I guess that is because from early in my career, I simply “blurred the lines” between females and males who dressed like females. I kid my husband that if i was a man I’d have to be in drag most of the time because I simply love high heels, nylons, corsets and garters. He tends to roll his eyes and smile, grateful that I am simply myself.

Mirror Mirror

Mirror, mirror on “my Bod,” who’s the fairest of them all? “Thou, O Countess Christina, art the fairest in all the land by far!” “I thoughts so.”…I said to myself A modification to the original Christmas Nite Dress. Easily worn out in public although I had no issue with the previous one in the public domain.

I slip on my stilettos and close the last chapter on Alice. What fun I have had venturing through Wonderland with her and the others.

A Little Bit of Alice in all of Us

There’s a little bit of Alice in all of us and maybe that isn’t such a bad thing after all. What else would fairy tales be for if not to make us smile?

Color me lovely. Some people will never support you because they are afraid of what you might become. Be whatever you may and what makes you happy not anyone else. “Live the Day as if it is your very last to live because one day…this statement ……will be true. Think about it. Life is to short to compromise for another.”

The Lost Christmas Shoe

The Lost Christmas Shoe by Christina Saint Marche

The Cheshire Cat leaned over the branch as he spoke to Alice. “Most everyone’s mad here. You may have noticed that I’m not all there myself.” Alice pondered the Feline’s response for a moment and then tried to ask the original question again. “But Christina seems very normal to me.” The Cat interrupted Alice: “Whaaaat! Who wears high heels in the bedroom even when it is not dark out! I ask you that? Christina’s life is not some fairy tale my dear child. If she lost one of her silver and diamond shoes its probably because she wanted some young man to find it. You know, so to seek a reward. If it were midnight and you lose your shoe on the steps of a castle you’re probably drunk.” The Cheshire Cat recoiled back to his sleeping position on the branch. Alice in the mean time had spotted the Hatter dancing on the table where they had tea earlier. Possibly he knew where the lost shoe was she thought.

This Christmas

This Christmas by Christina Saint Marche

Christmas Night is a special evening in my home. By the time it comes around, all the presents have been opened, the food has been enjoyed and surely enough wine corks have been left on the kitchen counter. As the night comes along and everyone has left, it’s just me and my husband. We don’t do too much for Christmas for each other. It’s not “our thing” as we agree each year to donate what we would have spent on each other to a charity that needs a hand. The end of Christmas Day brings just the two of us together, a nice fire in the fireplace and a bottle or two of champagne. It also brings an opportunity for me to wear a new gown that I had made just for this night. For me, this is my gift to the man I married. No matter what happens in the world…it is “This Christmas”…for us. Its what the holiday truly means to me and what I wait for each year. Nothing else seems to really matter on this evening. Princess Diana once said: “I don’t want expensive gifts; I don’t want to be bought. I have everything I want. I just want someone to be there for me, to make me feel safe and secure.” I wish all of you a very Merry and Romantic Christmas 2021. Christmas is never about the value of the gifts given but rather its about the “Giver of the Gifts that come directly from their heart.” Joyeux Noël and may you find what you are searching for…..This Christmas. Peace & Love, Christina Saint Marché
