Post-s7 Sam who can tell what’s “real” and what isn’t (most of the time, but sometimes doubts creep in) but doesn’t think it matters anyway because reality itself now is insubstantial/fragile (I can’t quite get the exact word that I want so these will have to do) and like flimsy and not permanent and basically Dean is the only one who feels real, who feels solid, like he’s “there” and won’t crumble away *makes frustrated noises*

The First-Time Wincest Fest kicked off yesterday, and we’re excited to find out how Sam and Dean could have gotten together in each episode of Supernatural! Sign up here, and find more info about this event here. We hope you’ll join us!
Welcome to Every Time We Touch, an event that celebrates the hundreds of possible ways Sam and Dean Winchester could get together! In this event, we’ll try to create a first-time Wincest fic or artwork for as many episodes of Supernatural as we can. Episode sign-ups open today (January 24, 2021, Dean’s birthday), and the deadline for your works is May 2 (Sam’s birthday).
This event works like a prompt fest and takes place on AO3. The “prompts” are the 327 episodes of Supernatural. You sign up by claiming one or several prompts (episodes), which you commit to filling by claiming them. Leave a comment on the episode you want on this spreadsheet; make sure you include your AO3 username so we can verify that the fill matches the sign-up. Completed works should be posted in the AO3 collection for this event. You are welcome to link and share elsewhere as well, of course. The episode you created for should be identified in the tags or notes of your work.
Fic should be a minimum of 500 words, but beyond that it can be as long as you like. Art should be at minimum a finished sketch and should have a visible connection to the episode you chose.
FAQ: What kind of first time? Your work can be about a first kiss, first date, or first time having sex—whatever works for you, as long as it’s some version of Sam and Dean getting together romantically and/or sexually.
Are any topics banned? Nope—just make sure to tag and warn appropriately.
How closely should the work connect to the episode? Can it be AU? The work should take place during or after the episode. Some canon divergence is perfectly fine within those boundaries.
What about episodes where Sam and Dean are separated? You can still sign up for those! Just be creative. For example, you could write about Sam or Dean fantasizing about the other for the first time.
Are threesomes allowed? Sure, as long as the focus is on Sam and Dean getting together.
Can I submit something that I already created or posted prior to this event? No, all works should be created specifically for this event.
Can I claim multiple episodes? Can a single episode receive multiple works? You can select up to five episodes to create for. A single episode can receive up to two works.

First, there are two weeks left till your works are due for the First-Time Wincest Fest! If there’s anything we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to drop us an ask. Make sure to finish your work by May 2, and don’t forget to submit it to the Ao3 collection!
Second, when we wrap up the fest, we’d love to include a supplementary reclist of other episode-specific first-time wincest works. So please use this form to send us your recs for works that would meet the terms of this event but weren’t written for it. We’ll compile them into a list and share them at the end of the fest!
