Hi everyone, 

Our graduation film is finally out ! It took a whole year and four good friends to make it happen : Martin Hurmane, Alix Arrault,Jules Rigolle, and myself. Special thanks to Alessandro Vergonnier,Florian Perron,Charles Badiller,Guillaume Pochez and Jean-luc Dessertaine for the help, Shima Takuto for the translation, and to Antoine DucheneandEtienne Chouzier who did a stellar job on the soundtrack.

The last shot, we chose to close the film on a un bearable cliffhanger as to who the culprit was. At least, our two top agents couldn’t figure it out. Can you ?

Just another day at the office

Animations by Nicolas Capitaine and Léni Marotte, I worked on doodling what’s behind the characters, and concept arting the set.

Hey! A few shots from the short I talked about, animated by Léni Marotte and Nicolas Capitaine. I was in charge of everything involving colors and backgrounds. And here’s a step by step of this sequence, so everyone can witness how depressingly grey the making of a cg film can be :

Russel the dashing special agent, modeled and designed by the omnipotent Nicolas Capitaine. I did the texturing and renduring on this one as well.

Here’s the first Character, Jack. Designed and modeled by the furious Léni Marotte. I was in charge of the texturing and rendering.

Along with cool kids Léni Marotte andNicolas Capitaine, we made something in CG resembling a short film this year. I will unveil a few shots that I deem worthy of showing. The film was called “True defective”, and was meant as a parody of cool detective tv shows. This is the opening shot !
