Savannah:You’re a real photographer, just as much as any photographer is a “real photographer”. Stop selling yourself short.
Melora:I’m not selling anything. I’m just a girl with her camera, nobody will ever want to buy any of my stuff.
Savannah:You come from a long line of great artists.
Melora:Yeah too bad all I can draw are stick figures…
Savannah:Your art is your photography, so naturally your photos are wonderful – when you develop them that is. I still have my old contacts, I know plenty of people who’d be happy to take you on as an assistant.
Savannah: Melora how many rolls of film do you have to develop now?
Melora:I don’t know, some.
Savannah: A lot, and I’m not going to do it for you just because you leave them sitting in the dark room.
Melora:But I hate the way it smells in there, and what’s the point in developing them anyways? It’s not like anyone’s ever going to see them. I’m not a real photographer.
