#seal of the vice president

LIVE

EDSA People Power II in 2001 was my personal crucible as much as EDSA People Power I in 1986 was for my parents and my older siblings. In 2002 at the age of 27, steeled by a new political awakening and resolve, and then undertaking a new design and history (heraldry) project for the government. I saw everything as an opportunity to unlearn what I knew before and relearn anew and more about our nation.

Prudence, discernment, and empathy are gifts, but for those who seek them, they will only come through to dutiful and constant nurture of the mind and spirit with integrity and ethics. Whatever next reality you would visualize for yourself and our country would solely depend on your vote on Election Day. How you nurtured your mind and spirit throughout the past six years will inform your ultimate decision. That constant diet of fake news from dubious peddlers and disinformation sources which you have not made any effort to verify will be its bedrock.

When everything clears out in the end (depending on your person, time and process), the cumulative lessons you would gain from it all will form the self-realization that is your life in hindsight. By then it will be too late and you would just have to live with it—be it with the sword of Damocles or Pyrrhic victory. You cannot allow that. You would not allow that for yourself and your family, would you? An all-too-steep a price to pay for these unwise #NeverAgain choices on your ballot.

Please use this freely, a small campaign design contribution, for our 2022 new Philippine President and Vice President, Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan. May they be grace to win!

Incidentally 2022 is the 20th Anniversary of my getting started on the official design requirements for the coat-of-arms, seal, and flag of the President and Vice President of the Philippines, of which the Executive Order No. 310 is signed on 20 April 2004 https://www.officialgazette.gov.ph/2004/04/20/executive-order-no-310/
