i still can’t go outside so i took someone else’s photo and made it different
i might not be able to go outside but nothing will stop me from taking long exposures of movies i like while i lie in bed

i love to see you in the doorway in the morning, steaming coffee in your hand, light all around your head
i love to see you as you get out of the shower, skin flush warm and soft
i love you when you walk beside me, my hand in your pocket to curl my fingers around yours
i love the way you squint at me, suspicious, as i bolt out the door in the morning wearing your last clean shirt

there’s a forever 21 near me that’s shutting down and i have to keep reminding myself that i live in a studio apartment and even if they do let me have all the mannequins, i have nowhere to put them, so best not to even ask
