The count down continues! We have been fortunate to receive several snow storms before Christmas. My little #sheshed is covered in lots of snow. When I went out to hang Christmas wreaths on the doors I quickly realized the doors were frozen shut! I will have to get an earlier start next year before it gets to cold. Or I could get out my long extension cord and the blow dryer but I don’t think I will go to that extreme this year. It is a beautiful, cool morning this morning. A great morning for enjoying working in the she shed. Progress update: Thanks to our amazing friend and electrician @mr_nelson24 , I now have electricity in my she shed! I also now have the doors and chairs painted! The next items that we will be working on is the trim along the roof and the boards to give the shed a board and batten look on the outside. Then we will focus on finishing the inside walls. Doors are still not painted but are on my to do list. Curtains are hung, trench dug, conduit placed in the ground for the electrical wires to run through it, ditch filled back in. I know it is premature placing everything in before walls are finished but I just couldn’t wait any longer! I have been enjoying setting up and working in my shed but it is starting to get hot. I am glad Ryan Nelson will be coming back soon to finish the electrical work and hang my ceiling fan. So I might have had a bit of a melt down today. It may not look like it from the first few pictures but if you scroll through to the end you will see that it was possibly a bit more than a small one! It felt really, really good to chuck almost everything out of my she shed into the yard. I am tired of waiting and my patience in running thin. Now that the weather is getting warmer I really want to get things rolling and I am itching to finish decorate my little shop! Electricalwork is scheduled for May 1st and the days are slowly ticking by. I am happy to say I felt better after throwing almost everything out into the yard. I am happy to see the floor again.
