I know ive had 2 weeks to prepare for this episode, but im not emotionally ready
Vigilantes *screams*
What really shook me in Ch 63 and 64 of Vigilantes is that the last panels where we see Shirakumo alive are… ordinary. Small. Which made it all feel so sudden, almost rushed but not in a bad way? Like, it really encapsulated the tragedy that is an accident.
Snap finger to save the kids.
Get hit in the head.
And then nothing.
It’s done. This character is dead on screen without anyone really realising it until the situation calmed down and we discover the sheet covering his body. That was brutal, that was unfair, and that is why Aizawa is so fucking hard on the 1A kids. He knows accidents happen and no matter how good of a person you are, you’re not immune to them.
Also, that scene with shirakumo reminds me of the first villain attack at UA. The moment when Tsuyu is about to get disintegrated by Shigaraki and Aizawa saves her at the last second. Now I can truly appreciate why this guy was ready to get himself killed if it meant another kid could live.
I honestly don’t know how he would have coped with living through a second Shirakumo but this time with him being in charge
PRODUCTION UPDATE 5/21/2022
Hey everyone! We’re finally back with an important announcement regarding the zine! Be sure to read below the cut, so you know where we’re at with production!
Good news first: The formatting for the zine is complete, and all contributors have had a chance to look over the pdf to check for any errors. The file was sent to our printer for proofing, and while our digital proof checked all boxes, we are still waiting for the hardcopy proof.
On to the unfortunate news: The hardcopy proof was meant to arrive with Mod Savvy on 5/26, but our printer has informed us of an “unexpected delay”, causing the proof to now arrive on 6/1 instead. Normally this wouldn’t be too severe of a delay, however…
Mod Savvy will be out of state until 6/7 and will not be able to look over the hardcopy proof when it arrives. As soon as they get home, they will be able to check for any errors in the proof and either fix them, or put in the order for the remaining zines.
The entire mod team would like to apologize for how long you’ve all been waiting for progress and updates. We hope you understand that some delays are beyond our control, but we are doing our best to get things moving as quickly as we can. Thank you for your continued patience.

PRODUCTION UPDATE 4/22/2022
Hey everyone! We’re back with another production update, and hopefully one of our last before shipping begins! Be sure to read through the whole post under the cut to see the newest update regarding the production of the zine.
First and foremost, all of our merch has officially arrived! Check out how cute the charms and pins turned out! They’re so much better in person that we could’ve imagined. AND these all came completely defect free!
Our die-cut stickers and sticker sheets also arrive, looking so smooth and glossy and ready to go wherever you love to put stickers! Laptops, notebooks, water bottles, you name it! These also arrived defect free!
Lastly, we have our buttons! While they look unbelievably adorable, we do have to let you know we unfortunately received a high amount of defects for this item. Luckily, after thorough inspection of each button, we DO have enough A-grade buttons to cover all customer orders.
In regard to the buttons ONLY, please keep in mind that if we hold leftover sales, it’s likely only B-grade options will be left. And any orders that need to be replaced will also need to be replaced with a B-grade button. All other merch will be available as A-grade.
Lastly, what you’re all waiting to hear: Formatting for the zine has hit a small delay but is still currently still being worked on with great care. We hope to have it completed very soon so that we can approve a soft proof before ordering.
That’s all we have for now. The next update you’ll hear from us will be regarding the zine itself, and we hope to update you all on that very, very soon. We’re nearly ready to begin shipping and we hope you’re all excited as we are!

PRODUCTION UPDATE 4/6/2022
Hello everyone we’re back with another production update. It’s not much, but we wanted to share some new information. Be sure to read through the whole post to see where we’re at currently.
While the charms, die cuts, sticker sheets, and buttons are still in production (luckily with the same manu), the enamel pins officially shipped today. No word on an estimated delivery date just yet.
Prints arrived recently, and we have some photos we want to share! We think they turned out beautifully, and can’t wait to see them alongside all our other merch.
Formatting for the zine is nearly complete, and we hope to have something ordered by the end of next week after our contributors have the chance to correct for errors and the soft proof is approved. We will continue to keep you updated, but that’s all for now.

Hello everyone and thank you for your patience over the last few weeks! We’re finally here to give a production update! Please be sure to read the information in this post to find out what we’ve been up to:
You’ll be happy to know that ALL of our shipping supplies have been ordered and have safely arrived with Mod Savvy! They’re just waiting to be put to use and stuffed with all sorts of Erasercloud goodies!
Additionally, ALL physical merch items have officially been ordered! We took some time to sort our finances to determine the best quantity for all our merch items and all orders have been placed. These items are coming from different manufacturers, so this next part is important:
Many manufacturers are notifying customers of potential delays due to supply chain disruptions and labor shortages. Additionally, a paper shortage has proven to cause delays for many manufacturers that are capable of producing zines.
Lastly, we are still waiting on the completion of the zine’s format before we place the order for them. We want to take the time and make sure there are no errors before we send the file out for proofing. We will continue to keep you updated as merch items arrive with Mod Savvy for shipping.
