A little update on the kitten situation- all 3 babies are thriving! They’re starting to wiggle around and open up their eyes slowly! The little girl (grey tortie) has her eyes pretty much open all the way and it’s so neat to see her starting to take in her surroundings!
I’m still pretty MIA atm- my job’s busy season just kicked into high gear and while I’ve been playing lots of sims I haven’t touched the commune challenge in a bit- have no fear, it will be back soon!
I’ve been fostering a pregnant cat for the last few weeks and she went into labor unexpectedly! So if I disappear for a bit- this is why!
The mom is Flora and the babies are (from right to left) Sage, Dill and Basil. Sage (grey tortie) is a girl, the other two are boys.
After a weather-appropriate makeover, the Griffin family settled right into the farm lifestyle!
I forgot how often Ash autonomously goes jogging…
Even though I didn’t take any screenshots of it- Clover is thrilled to have her family on the farm. She has hugged everyone multiple times since they joined the household.
The Griffins will stay at the commune for the summer and leave mid-fall to go back to Selvadorada. I’m sure they’ll visit plenty though!

I had to relocate the commune to a bigger lot, but in doing so I was able to add a small home for the Griffin-Tomillofamily.
Ash, his wife Rosa(Clover’s step-mother) and their daughter Latana!Latana was born just before the Griffin’s left the Carver Commune forRosa’snativeSelvadorada.

OhAsh, how I’ve missed you!
Knox is quick to give Ash some of the commune’s homemade preserves and suggests that the Griffins come stay at the farm during the unbearably hot Selvadoradan summers!

Clover gets a call from her dad, Ash Griffin, who is visiting from Selvadorada with the rest of Clover’s family. He wants to come check out the new farm and see how his daughter is doing out on her own.
Knox is happy to giveAsh a tour and introduce him to the wildlife.

After the competition, Cloverdecided to finally use the chicken coop on the farm. She purchased a Hen and two chicks.
Knox was eager to help with the plants! That’s my kind of houseguest!

Back at the farm, Clover gets a visit from Knox Greenburg! He came to check out her farming commune!

It’s the Chicken Competition! Cloverdoesn’t know anything about chickens, but that doesn’t stop her from judging the entries.

Today is another Finchwick Fair- So Clover rushes to get her chores done around the farm and heads into town for the fair.

Saturday was Clover’sfirst Finchwick Fair!
She met the Mayor and the other townspeople, ran some errands and went shopping!

Because the Llama was kind of creeping me out- We exchanged him for Bluebell the Cow! Clover is very taken with her.

Before I gave her the new CL aspiration, Clover was a renaissance sim!
That means that on top of everything else, she’s learning to play the piano, create jams and preserves via canning, and she’s taken up embroidery!
I guess she’s what you’d call “accomplished”!

There’s also no shortage of work to be done on the new commune farm- after a long day of planting and fixing up the old barn, Clover is happy to take a short break near the fire.

The next morning was a major milestone for the Farm Commune~
Clover purchased lots of seeds to start the garden and the commune gained it’s next member!

At the center of the maze (spiral thing?) Clover partook in a local tradition- she left a future cube for the next lucky sim and walked away with some seeds for the garden.
She also took a selfie with Sophiethe Snail!

Even though Clover is a vegetarian (she gained this trait when she aged up into a YA) she spent some time fishing so she could stock the farm commune’s pond.

The birds aren’t very impressed by Clover’s singing. She’ll have to bring them a little gift once we get the garden going!
