A little update on the kitten situation- all 3 babies are thriving! They’re starting to wiggle around and open up their eyes slowly! The little girl (grey tortie) has her eyes pretty much open all the way and it’s so neat to see her starting to take in her surroundings!
I’m still pretty MIA atm- my job’s busy season just kicked into high gear and while I’ve been playing lots of sims I haven’t touched the commune challenge in a bit- have no fear, it will be back soon!
Got an email that there was a foster mom cat available with 3 one day old kittens - jumped at the chance
As soon as I pulled back into my garage with the cats, got an email that 2 bottle baby kittens has come in and would I be willing to bring mom back to see if she’d accept the kittens
Came home again with mom and 5 kittens! 3 are one day old and 2 are about 5 days old!
Guys, I got Butter back from the yesterday and I do not feel good about him. I feel like I’m gonna lose him too.
Ok, well SLIGHTLY positive news. He ate for the people at the shelter and they said based on what they are seeing right now, they don’t think it’s a lost cause. The foster lady is going to take him home over the weekend to monitor. Basically, all his siblings are like 1 lb bigger than him and they are worried he might just be too small to compete with them. Depending on how the weekend goes, they may try to pair him with a 4 week old (he’s almost 8 weeks and that is how small he is). I feel better that they aren’t quitting on him.
