Brushed-up Medieval Toddler Outfits by Joyce333

This creator used to be active on ModtheSims, but seems to have left and the creations are no longer displayed there (they can be found through Waybackmachine). This may have been due to the beginner’s mistakes that could be found in most of these outfits. Nevertheless, they’re still looked for and the design ideas are cute, so I thought I’d give them a technical overhaul. They’re all renumbered and won’t overwrite the originals.

Good Medieval Dress: Updated Bonedeltas, so the hands are over the skirt when the toddler sits down. Cleared the multiplier in the neck- and leg-area. Made skirt and top recolourable separately. Fixed minor gaps in the mesh.

Nightshirts: Formerly two separate items, combined into one. The first preset has the plaid pattern in the multiplier, the second is plain, but I gave it a weave pattern to make it look a bit more structured. Fixed gaps and seams in the mesh, reassigned bones, improved textures on underside of skirt.

Tee-Shirt: Gave it a less shiny specular and linked alpha-map.

Tights: Slimlined texture images. Note that this is found under “Bottoms”, not under “Accessories”. Does not work with feet-meshes that have meshed toes. If you have a default installed, Aikea-Guinea’s extracted EA-feet can be helpful. I’m including them here, because their host is down (dl: SFS|DB). Accessory tights for toddlers are (for example) found here.

Plain Good Top: Removed duplicate texture images, but added a second preset with the belt that was there as an unused texture.

Dragon Buckle Tunic: Smoothed neck-seams, optimized texture images. Added a second preset with a layered design.

Tights Chainmail: Slimlined texture images. Linked Alphamap. Same technical notes as the plain tights above.Bonus: I converted this also to an all-age accessory. It’s not perfect, the knee-shadows are distinctly off for adults, but I thought it might be useful for grown-up knights too.

Boots: Replaced corrupted meshes in the lower LODs. For this item I strongly recommend using my version, as the original could cause game-crashes.

Fur Jacket: Smoothed neck-seams. Improved mapping so the Celtic patterns are no longer distorted. Removed odd textures in the leg-area.
