It’s finally here: Herbal Cottage

“Herbal Cottage” is the unholy amalgamation of obscure Castlevania references, my love for herbs, and some Harry Potter plants - which is all held together by Gothic-cottage styled furniture. Wanna make a plant shop? There are displays and a workbench for you. Wanna build a witch’s cottage? Have a magic mirror and some potions! Wanna create Dracula’s wife and play in an everyone-lives AU of the Netflix show? You absolutely can do that! Too specific, eh?
What needs LODs has them, what is so low-poly that nothing can be done has only one LOD. Everything’s got working bump and spec mapping, footprints and a whole boatload of slots.
As per usual, if you find a bug report it back and I’ll see if I can fix it. If not, then there’s got to be a tutorial for it. I hope…
This kit is 30 buy-mode assets large and consists of only Basegame objects. No additional packs are needed. Here are the color palettes I used:

This is technically a dollhouse. If EA can re-texture stuff then I can re-mesh it. Sims can easily walk through the play area and then sit down to play with a little doll family. It comes in a few baby-ish colors but feel free to recolor as you please. The last swatch is pure white so it shouldn’t be too much trouble. This thing is ~ 3x3 tiles large so keep that in mind when you place it somewhere.
It’s got 1 LOD because I can. not. make. it. less. Seriously, this is the lowest poly I can make and it looks awesome. Work smart not hard lol.
!! Otherwise it’s got everything working. I play-tested it with my own game, which is not fully updated, so please if there are any bugs report them back to me for later.

These previews were made in S4Studio and may not represent the final look of the item in your game. It’s all maxis match and I did quality control as best as I could. LODs work, shadows are shadowy, the gourd looks as dumb as its preview and the canna is from Jungle Adventure. Specs, bumps all should do their things- oh. There’s a secret in this pack. You’ll have to take a close look at one of the furniture pieces to spot it. Good luck hunting that down!
The set is inspired by The Sims2 for DS. Strangetown’s Hotel has such nice 2000’s style furniture. …well, and the occasional nuclear rod, but hey. No big deal, right?
Back to the basics -OR- how much clutter can I fit into one small room?
Most of the clutter in this kit was requested by you people out there. Thus, you need slots to put the clutter somewhere, right? This set’s got you covered. Be it the electric toothbrush, the exotic soaps or the curlers: it will have a spot. Slot. You know what I mean. The kit’s files are named “Bathroom Essentials” or BE for short, so you know what belongs together and what not. If you want to search for them look for the icon or type “ LxN ”. Some of these have extra instructions in their object description. If nothing is written down, just try messing with the assets. The toilet paper rolls are stackable, and yes, you can build an entire castle out of it.

Foundation? Foundation. It’s got to be solid and it has to match my houses. Nope. This is something I’m very weird about. So, to make my houses match Henford’s style I put the wall texture onto the simple stone foundation and made this. Yes. I am just that desperate to have my stuff match.
This foundation matches the swatches from Cottage Living stone walls. You don’t need the pack tho. It’s play-tested and you can get it here for free and without AdFly bothering you
In-game you will find it as CottageEco which is my way of saying it’s cottage living stone + eco living wall plaster. Both textures are from EA and this is a Frankenstein-ish recolor. No additional mesh needed.

Not exactly a love-dove here, but hey, it’s love day and we all need some lovely loving love. Love. Yes. True to what I usually do, one of these items is a total joke. Those who know where it comes from: big thumbs up.
Anyway, I made a SFS folder where you can pick and choose which of these you want. This wee mini set includes:
- A functional wedding altar. ( Enough with the arches EA! )
- Sparkling wine glasses. ( Have swatches to toggle the petals on and off )
- Fairylights honeycomb-style. ( Glow in the dark thanks to EM )
- Praline box. ( Very heart shaped. Very NOT edible )
- Bleeding Heart. ( No! Not like that. It’s a plant. Pfft as if I’d make a real bleeding h- yes. Yes, I would… )
- Ring Rose Rectangle. ( Actually a box. The rings are too big but it’s MM style sooo… )
- The Valentine’s steak. ( It has a very dapper little bow )
!! The gif preview pics are taken in S4Studio and have transparency issues. These won’t show up in game !!

Happy Simblreen, now it’s time for something sour
Have you ever felt like Cottage Living was too… nice? Have you ever thought Realm Of Magic was too… artsy? Then my kit may be for you. It consists of 20 new buy objects and 2 converted floors from TSM. The theme here is “dark fairytale”. What exactly that means, the object descriptions will tell you. Oooooh secrets!

Highlights of this kit are:
1. A brooike. What’s a brooike? Broom + bike = brooike. Yes, it’s basegame compatible too. Yes, sims can ride these- uhh fly these. And inch above the ground, I think?
2. A Ouija-board laptop. Sims can use it like any regular laptop, but it doesn’t have a screen and it is, well, a Ouija board. What else can I say?
Everything is BGC - BaseGame Compatible, has proper LODs, maps, textures and stuff. Some things glow, others don’t. OH! Yes, I included a new wood swatch to my maxissimple palette. It now matches the warm brown you find in Cottage Living!
I’ve playtested but some bugs keep sneaking in. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you find one. I’m happily fixing it up if I can

Presenting: The Palettfest kit - featuring: leather, pallets and hanging grass gardens!

Palettfest, or pallet party in English, is a mix of modernized industrial and the general vibes we get in the home decorator GP. I used textures from that pack to make it match a little more, tho the wood won’t cooperate on lower graphics settings. Meh. The bedding is taken from GP1 Outdoor Living, and the clutter / books are from Sims Medieval. ‘Wanted some nostalgia in my game lol
5€ for the Industrial Kit™ that doesn’t even match with most of the other furniture? Yea… no. So, I made this mess. This is somewhat of a Radiance part 2 thing, but also not. If that makes sense? Anyway you get 31 new buy-mode objects in this kit, merged as one file. All of them are BaseGameCompatible, have their proper LODs, maps and stuff. You know the drill by now. Let me know if you find any issues, I happily fix them.
