He’d been inside board rooms where money-hungry CEO’s had discussed the best ways to screw over their employees and give themselves extortionate bonuses. He’d been told to ‘wait outside’ hotel rooms while slimy politicians cheated on their wives with sex workers who looked barely legal. He’d even been a glorified babysitter for spoiled teen idols with too much money and armies of scarily obsessed fans.
None of them had been quite as intent on making Kaoru’s life unbearable though, as Kojiro Nanjo.
