‘Snake Woman’s Curse’ (1968). Directed by Nobuo Nakagawa.
This was definitely something I wanted to stop working on many times. I didn’t have a concept in mind at all while starting out. I also used this piece as a way to learn Clip Studio Paint on my iPad. Also, I’m not good at character design but I tried.
Finally got around to making a fifth MerMay picture. Wasn’t happy with one I’d tried to draw earlier in the week, so drew this instead.
Featuring a return of the mermaid whose friend is a nautilus, this time surprising a snake-woman diver.
