Without saying a word, Aika approached him and shyly petted him on the head. Zed replied with a gentle peck of his snout on her hand. The little girl giggled.
“Seems like Aika made a new friend!” Sayuri said speaking to her son.
“That’s quite…new” Ryuji said speaking for the first time.
“You know” the old lady said “It’s not easy to conquer Aika’s trust. That’s a good sign, to me! Now, let me show you your room.”
And they entered the big house.

“We’re done packing!” Isabela said while closing the last luggage. “We’re moving to Mt. Komorebi tomorrow. Aren’t you excited, Zed?”
The dog happily barked in reply.
“Youre such a good boy following me everywhere” she said petting him.
