Firstly, to everyone who reached out about my pet, thank you all for thinking of me. things have gotten a little easier. I know he isn’t suffering anymore, and I know that from speaking with my vet, there was nothing I could’ve done to prevent it from happening.
Secondly, I changed my profile, all of those dogs/cats/rats and lizards are the pets I’ve owned over my lifetime! Someone in my personal life commissioned an artist to do it for me.
Thirdly, I know I promised posts this week, but work was a little stressful, and most nights I was leaving half an hour to almost an hour after my shift ended. But I’m using this weekend to catch up on at least half of them and get them posted!
my jonathan s4 set will come after vol 2 premieres <3
sometimes the best fanfics are written by middle aged adults with years of writing experience who simply know how to craft a good story. but also sometimes the best fanfics are written by a sixteen year old girl with something deeply wrong with her
seeing some people in the notes being like “haha my immortal” or “yeah the 16 year old’s writing might not be technically good but the stories are great” and like. no bro this post was fully written to say that 16 year olds sometimes bang out works that are comparable to and on even footing with those of more experienced adults bc being a teen just makes u that unhinged sometimes. there are 100% stories you idolize that were written by someone in high school but you’d never know it. it’s just wild to think about sometimes
Mary Wollstonecraft Shelly was a teenager when she wrote Frankenstein. S.E. Hinton was a teenager when she wrote The Outsiders. There are absolutely teenage girls alive today capable of writing excellent, well-crafted stories, whether they be original works or transformative ones (aka fan fiction).
Unredeemable to YOU, I on the other hand have very flexible morals
