No, in case you’re wondering these three adventurous ladies didn’t sit side by side in Porto Paradiso during a fancy SEA reunion… Camellia was born at the end of the XVIII century, Mary was -probably- in her 30s in 1899 and Alberta was born much later, in 1911.
It would be possible for an old Camellia to have met a young Mary and the same goes for Mary and a young Alberta…
But I mean, this won’t stop me headcanoning that Camellia is everyone’s cool Italian ghost grandma :P
Pamelia Perkins was the president of the Adventurer’s Club in the former Pleasure Island. She is the namesake of the Perkins Thai Noodles at the Skipper Canteen.
The namesake of the former Pleasure Island at the former Downtown Disney, Merriweather Pleasure was a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, the owner of the former Adventurers Club and an ardent fan of New Year’s Eve.
Also known as the Rocketeer, Cliff Secord was a stunt pilot for Bigelow’s Air Show and superhero who appeared in the 1991 Disney film The Rocketeer and in a cameo in the 2019 Disney Jr Show The Rocketeer, both based on the 1980s comic book of the same name. In the film set in the 1930s, Cliff discovers a mysterious jetpack and uses it to beat up some Nazis and becomes a superhero dubbed The Rocketeer. By the time of The Rocketeer (2019) Cliff has long since passed (as it is set in the modern day) and it is shown that he settled down and had a family as his great-granddaughter Kit became the new Rocketeer.
In the Disney Parks, a ‘roastie-toastie’ can be found of him at a popcorn cart in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. In Walt Disney World however, at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, it’s shown that Jock Lindsey knew Cliff Secord as there are pictures of the two together and there is a poster for Bigelow’s Air Circus. This connects Cliff Secord to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers.
He is also a playable character in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode.
