Solar Power album review by yours truly

The Path and Fallen Fruit are the best new songs on the album (not counting the singles because they’ve been out for a little while so it wasn’t like a new experience hearing them on the album) 

and my single ranking is: 1. Mood Ring, 2. Solar Power, 3. Stoned at the Nail Salon (but i like them all so this isn’t me hating satns or something)

moral of the story: after listening to the album 2 and half times now since it came out; it is good. i understand why a chunk of fans don’t like it because it’s so different from Lorde’s past stuff and i get how you could like Pure Heroine and Melodrama and just not vibe with Solar Power. HOWEVER i like it. it’s good. different but good. Melodrama is probably still my favorite but there are definitely some songs on SP that top all of my fav songs on Melodrama ya know. 

maybe in like a week after listening to it more i’ll rank all the songs
