Back before JT was born, before Solomon was the One-Eyed, Powerful man called El Primo, he was nothing more than a grunt in Los Primos, a Mexican Immigrant newly out of work and brought in by the organization with promises of a more stable life. They called him Goliat, because he was towering and strong and dangerous.
He fell in love with the boss’s daughter, the only person who could make him blush and soften. She took some convincing, not trusting that he liked her for herself, taking his affections as either a mean joke or a way to get to her father. But eventually he charmed her over, they got married, had six kids–a strange match, but a dynamic duo.
(Solomon doesn’t lose his eye until JT is around 10 years old, when he is training to take Apollo’s place as El Primo.)

Much like JT and his siblings looks so similar to their parents, Mas looks nothing like either of hers! Mas towers over everyone in her family (they’re all average height), but she’s still super respectful to her dad because of how strict he was. He was a teacher at the school her and her siblings attended, so she never got away with anything. They’re both history buffs and collect antiques.
Mas’ sister Isi (Isabella) looks like mom but has her dad’s lighter hair color. Cid, her brother, is second tallest and has dark hair like Mas. The inside joke is that Mas, looking very little if nothing like either parent, was the adopted child and her siblings still tease her about it.
A PSA that JT actually isn’t tiny and scrawny, if you stand him next to an average sized person and not the fucking buff giants that he surrounds himself with.
